Starbucks and Fairtrade – Starbucks provides support to their coffee producers across the production cycle, namely in non-productive periods.

The coffee plant takes 3 years to reach full growth. The harvest can be done along 4 consecutive years, and the land is unproductive for the 3 to 4 years after thatl that is why Starbucks ensures their producers are remunerated during non-productive years.
